Fake drug sellers jailed

TWO women were sentenced to one year in jail and ordered to pay fines of three million riel (US$750) each after they were convicted by Phnom Penh Municipal Court yesterday of selling fake heroin to an undercover anti-drug police officer. The women, 46-year-old Kak Pao and 57-year-old Some Srey, were arrested in March after they attempted to sell more than 90 grams of fake heroin in the capital’s Chamkarmon district.
