Families petition hun sen for land

A group of 100 disabled former soldiers representing about 600 families from Kratie and Kampong Cham provinces travelled to Phnom Penh on Monday to deliver a letter to Prime Minister Hun Sen asking the premier to order the provincial governor to let them occupy an area of land in Kratie. Provincial Governor Kham Phoeun said Monday that the families are not permitted to reside on the land in Snuol district because it is a wildlife and forestry area.
