Remaining homes and business adjacent to the site of a huge fire in Phnom Penh's
Chamkarmon District that left more than 2700 residents homeless have been evicted
by municipal authorities. The assortment of stores, restaurants, barber shops and
wood workshops were demolished on June 18 to make way for a planned public park.
The former residents have been relocated 17km outside Phnom Penh.
