Fireworks ban for Chinese New Year

Phnom Penh Municipality will ban fireworks and other noisy party favours that make “annoying” sounds during the upcoming Chinese New Year. The ban will be in place from February 13 to 18, according to Governor Kep Chuktema. The governor warned against use of firecrackers and other things that make loud noises. “All kinds of betting games are prohibited,” he added.
