A 43-YEAR-OLD fisherman was killed by a lightning strike during a storm in Pursat’s Kandieng district on Wednesday. Kem Sam El, Raingtoel commune chief, said that the victim, local fisherman Troeng Yaly, was killed when the boat he was fishing on was struck by a bolt of lightning. Police said that the victim should not have gone fishing because he knew it would rain.
