A Polish man found guilty of embezzling US$1,800 was sentenced in absentia by Siem Reap provincial court on Monday to five years in prison, a court official said. Judge Ith Samphos said Slawomir Dobrzynski, 44, was arrested in March but later fled the country after being released on bail. “When he comes to Cambodia again, officials will arrest him,” the judge said.
