Flash floods slam Preah Vihear

A flash flood caused by a week of heavy rains has affected about 300 families in Preah Vihear town, said Oum Mara, provincial governor of Preah Vihear.

“The flood has not yet killed or seriously injured anyone, but some crops are damaged,” he said.

He added that authorities have informed the villagers along the river to be more careful but noted that the level of the river has not yet reached alarm level.
