Four teenagers were slightly injured in Battambang province’s Mong Russey district after discovering a Khmer-Rouge era shell in a field and burning it. The boys – all aged 13 or 14 – were taken to hospital after the shell exploded. District police chief Kit Heang said: “It was luck that the pieces of shell did not get in their eyes.”
