Higher prices for aviation fuel have resulted in increased freight prices for

consumers. DHL announced that as of November 1 it would levy an extra 2 percent

Shell, said tensions over a possible US-led conflict with Iraq were to blame. He

said those customers who had signed moving price fuel contracts had been hit by

the jump in oil prices.
