Around 30 French-funded NGOs met with French and Cambodian government officials Thursday to discuss strengthening partnerships with both governments. The NGOs receive combined annual funding of more than US$35 million from the French government, according to a Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement released Friday. The ministry called on the NGOs to make the process of working with the government easier by following government policy and Cambodian law more closely.
