FTU protest plan

The Free Trade Union (FTU) says it plans to stage a demonstration protesting against

the actions of lawyer Nach Try, a member of the Cambodian Bar Association.

According to FTU officials, Try is responsible for the firing of factory workers

and labor union leaders. Trade Union president Chea Mony says Try's accusations led

to court orders for the workers' arrest.

Try alleged that the workers were responsible for stealing company property and violating

company regulations.
