A three-year-old girl died from wasp stings on Friday after she and two other girls disturbed a nest in Prey Veng province’s Peamro district. Seng Punlok, district policy chief, said the girls, all the same age, were playing near a bamboo bush in front of their house when the wasps swarmed out of the hive. All three girls and a 75-year-old woman who ran out of the house to help them were seriously injured, and one girl died after being sent to hospital.
