The Cambodia Watchdog Council (CWC) plans to visit demarcation posts along the Vietnamese border in Kandal province’s Leuk Daek and Koh Thom districts within the next week, Rong Chhun, the group’s president, said Wednesday. Rong Chhun said the visit would enable him to check up on rumours that the markers have been placed inside Cambodian territory. “If we see that there is any irregularity, we will raise this issue with the government,” he said. An exact date for the CWC trip has not yet been fixed.
