A third day of hearings in the deportation case of former Phnom Penh Police Chief Heng Pov is scheduled for November 30, Pov's lawyer said on November 27.

Pov is fighting deportation to Cambodia at the Malaysian High Court following his arrest on October 3 for overstaying his visa in Malaysia.

Ahmed Shukor, who is representing Pov, said his client had been unconstitutionally and improperly detained longer than the standard two weeks permissible.
