The US State Department's decision to grant national police chief Hok Lundy a visa,
and allow him to attend a US counterterrorism conference, has been met by strong
opposition from Human Rights Watch, a human rights watchdog. In 2006, Lundy was denied
a visa on the basis of reports and allegations concerning his role in trafficking
in persons.
