Twenty Vietnamese miners were convicted of mining without a licence in Stung Treng province last week and will be sent back to their home country. The men were convicted on Thursday at the provincial court and fined 11 million riel (US$2,750), payable to the state, said prosecutor Chroeng Khmao.
