Illegal timber in pond

A HAUL of valuable timber was found submerged in a pond, hidden beneath long grass and within a water pot at a home in Pursat’s Bakan district, police said yesterday. Nearly one tonne of wood was discovered during a police raid on Tuesday, during which the two home owners escaped.
