Police in Sihanoukville on July 8 arrested 255 suspected illegal immigrants believed

to be transiting through Cambodia en route to Australia and New Zealand. The detainees

included Pakistani, Iranian, Indonesian and Afghan nationals. Cambodian authorities

are being assisted by Australia in seeking the group's repatriation to their own

countries. Four Indonesian and one Pakistani have been arrested on charges of human

trafficking.
