JAPAN will undertake a feasibility study for a large power station for

Sihanoukville, according to Business News.

The study will take 18 months,

and is expected to be funded under a grant from the Japan International

Cooperation Agency.

An agreement for the project was signed here earlier

this month between JICA's Kuniaki Nagata and Ith Prang, Secretary of State for

Industry.
