The Japanese government gave $121,828 to a Japanese NGO to provide healthcare to more than 47,000 villagers in Kampong Thom province. According to Monday’s press release, the money was given to People’s Hope Japan, which will provide community-based healthcare for mothers and children, raise sanitary campaigns, help local families build toilets and facilitate communication between the healthcare staff and locals.
