Joint visa plan

Under a new initiative to boost tourism, the governments of Cambodia and Thailand

have agreed to launch a joint visa plan.

Beginning in April 2006, travelers will be able to visit both countries with a single

visa under a plan announced by Vimon Kidchob, director general of Thailand's Department

of International and Economic affairs.

Government ministers from both counties are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding

for the visa pact.
