Seven journalists have been summoned to Kampong Chhnang provincial court next Thursday, over allegations that they extorted hundreds of dollars from illegal loggers in Chieb commune, Toek Phus district, in exchange for not writing negative information. Three journalists work for the Samleng Amatak newspaper. The other four worked for the Khmer Journalism Association for Democracy, Kampuchea Thmey, Deum Ampil and Today News publications.
