POLICE have arrested a Kandal province man after he was accused of violently raping his wife. Kandal Stung district police chief Sim Buth Bandith said the wife of the 28-year-old suspect complained to police after she was allegedly raped on Monday. The suspect has been sent to court for further questioning. Local rights group Adhoc has promised to offer the woman legal counsel.
