King returning

King Norodom Sihanouk announced Feb 19 that he would return to his homeland in

April on condition that he would be trated justly here. An angry Sihanouk abruptly

left Cambodia for Beijing last month after a series of attacks on him from supporters

of Second Prime Minister Hun Sen.

Hun Sen has appealed for Sihanouk to return, saying his presence was needed for the

election and for democracy.
