The government has commissioned Bangkok Airways to build an airport in Koh Kong

province, part of the ongoing development plan for the region. Governor Yuth

Phouthang said construction should begin by the end of the year. Some 360

hectares of land in the province has been earmarked for development in a bid to

attract foreign investment.
