Labour complaint axed

A mother who filed a complaint against Philimore labour agency over the alleged unlawful detainment of her daughter in Malaysia has dropped the case. Buth Saroeun, mother of 29-year-old Vong Heang, withdrew the complaint, filed with rights group Adhoc, after her daughter returned home yesterday. “I promised that we will not make a problem anymore,” she said.
