The Cambodian Labour Confederation has requested permission from Phnom Penh Municipal Hall for up to 3,000 people to parade through the capital on International Labour Day, May 1. CLC president Ath Thorn asked to use Preah Sisowath for the event, according to a letter. Sar Mora, president of the Cambodian Food Service Workers Federation, said yesterday a response had not yet been received.
