A BROTHEL owner was found guilty of harbouring sex workers and providing them with food by Phnom Penh Municipal court yesterday. Meach Buny, 41, was sentenced to six years jail for illegally operating a brothel in Chamkarmon district’s Tonle Bassac commune, presiding judge Sous Sam Ath said yesterday. The defendant had taken 50 percent of the earnings of between five to eight sex workers and provided them with food in return for servicing clients, he added. Meach Buny denied the charges yesterday and has 30 days to appeal the sentence.
