Three Cambodian institutions have been given honorable mentions for their financial

transparency in a worldwide review of microfinance organizations.

Amret, Prasac Credit Association and Thaneakea Phum all provide small loans and work

to help the poor. They were singled out for recognition in a regional category by

Consultative Group to Assist the Poor, an international consortium of donors to microfinance

institutions.
