Land mines are a major danger throughout Cambodia and a constant threat outside of

cities and large towns. Never remove "Danger Mine" signs as souvenirs.

It may cost somebody their leg or life. If unsure whether an area is safe, never

explore. Avoid early morning travel. Wait until other traffic has passed and then

follow their tracks. Stay alert for unusual signs, such as a bottle on a stick, a

pile of stones, or broken branches or twigs which may indicate land mines.
