Two teenage boys, Houng Kim Heng, 17 and Van Samdy, 16, were beaten to death with

sticks, sickles and spades in a mob killing December 31 in a rice field in Russei

Keo. Phnom Penh police said the victims had harassed a classmate the previous day.

The parents of the classmate accused the boys of being thieves and the mob beat them

to death. The couple was later arrested.
