A mob of 300 beat to death three robbery and rape suspects after taking them from

a Kampong Speu police station January 15. The mob arrived in a convoy of ten trucks

after hearing the suspects were to be transferred. Deputy police inspector Chea Vuth

apologized for the killings. No arrests have been made.
