Cambodian riels and US dollars are the two main currencies in circulation although

Thai baht is acceptable. The current rate of exchange is around 2,200 - 2,300 riel

to the dollar. Money can be changed at banks, hotels and shops. Travelers' checks

can be cashed at banks and at Chequepoint inside the Diamond Hotel on Monivong Blvd.

Cash can be withdrawn by credit card from larger banks but fees of around $30 per

transaction are charged.
