Monks to celebrate

A total of 2,600 monks have been invited by the Ministry of Cults and Religions to celebrate a Visak Bochea ceremony on Phnom Penh’s Diamond Island on May 17 and 18. Thousands of monks will make food offering during the event, which marks the anniversary of the day of birth, enlightenment and death of Buddha.
