Namibia, Cambodia tie diplomatic knot

Namibia is set to establish diplomatic relations with Cambodia, Namibian media reported last week. According to an article in the country’s New Era newspaper, the Namibian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has authorised its permanent representative to the UN to formalise the relationship between the two countries. Namibia was one of 46 countries to contribute troops or police to the UNTAC mission during 1992-93.
