SINGAPERE (AP) - The Association of Southeast Asian Nations expressed fears May 18
that continued fighting in Cambodia could break up that nation.
Senior ASEAN officials said they agreed that if the fighting continued, Cambodia
would be carved into rival factional areas. In a statement released after days of
talks, the officials expressed concern over attempts to disrupt the polls.
