JAKARTA (AP) - The government said June 10 it is cutting or abolishing more import

duties and opening new areas to investment in efforts to boost exports and create

more jobs.

The steps follow measures announced last week encouraging banks to grant more credit

to the business sector, reversing a tight money policy adopted in late 1990.
