New charges in line for celebrity funny woman

Popular Cambodian comedienne Chuon Chan Ratana, also known as “Neang Kaay”, will face new charges of fraud and breach of trust if she refuses to appear in Phnom Penh Municipal Court this week. The charges stem from a claim from businessman Chin Hap, 35, who alleged she rented a car from him for US$800 per month starting in November 2010 and that she issued him a cheque for $16,500 that never cleared, Kry Sok Y, deputy prosecutor of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court said Tuesday.
