State-owned National Radio channel AM 918 has established a new sister station aimed at younger listeners. With support from AusAID and the World Bank, Wat Phnom Radio began airing on the FM 105.75 frequency on November 1. It was created after it was discovered young listeners were not tuning in to the AM channel. Ton Yann, director general of National Radio at the Ministry of Information, said the new station will include educational programmes, features and news.
