Cambodian and Chinese citizens alike will come together February 1 to celebrate Chinese

New Year. Families will get together and bring in the year of the Ram, which is said

to bring good fortune and resolution to international conflicts. The two week celebrations,

based on the Chinese lunar and solar calendar, begin on the new moon.
