Staff at the National Bank of Cambodia are to be trained in understanding uniform

accounting, and supervising the compliance of other commercial banks. The Asian Development

Bank is paying for the training with a technical assistance grant of $79,000.The

ADB says its support is to create more public confidence in the banking sector, by

strengthening bank supervision and information disclosure. The NBC will train other

commercial banks.
