News Briefs: No politics, says King

In a statement issued on March 25, His Majesty King Norodom Sihanouk said he will

no longer write about the political affairs of Cambodia.

The King said: "Many Cambodian politicians get angry with me and blame me every

day because I always write articles about politics of the political parties."

The King also said he plans to go to North Korea from Beijing and stay there at least

through Khmer New Year. He said he would remain in Pyongyang until the political

atmosphere "let him come back to the country."
