NGOs attacked

The new Director of the Department of Fisheries, Nao Touk, accused the NGO Forum

of bias in favor of fishing villagers. The accusation came during a December 5-6

National Workshop on Fisheries Management and was provoked by a report produced by

the NGO Forum's Fisheries Forum about the plight of fishing villages along the Tonle

Sap.
