Nigerian sentenced

Pnhom Penh Municipal Court yesterday sentenced a 25-year old Nigerian man to five years in prison for stealing US$200 and a mobile phone last year. Presiding judge Ker Sakorn said Nwatu Charles Ugooch Kwu was arrested and charged in March 2010 following a complaint by a fellow Nigerian. Nwatu Charles Ugooch Kwu denied the charges and said yesterday he had borrowed the money.
