Officials meet with detained Cambodians

CAMBODIAN officials on Wednesday visited 74 Cambodian workers imprisoned in Malaysia, after they were arrested on January 1 for working in the country illegally. “The officials have asked them about their arrests, their work, their living conditions and health,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Koy Kuong said. He added that the officials also met with Malaysian authorities to discuss the group’s eventual return to Cambodia.
