THE Kingdom’s second Senate elections have been scheduled for January 29, 2012, following a majority vote by the body yesterday. Senators are selected by commune councilors and members of the National Assembly. In 2006, the Cambodian People’s Party won 43 of a possible 54 seats, the rest being split between Funcinpec and Sam Rainsy Party.
