The home of Pailin Governor Y Chhien sustained minor structural damage after coming
under rocket attack in the early morning of October 17.
Police said seven or eight suspects climbed the fence surrounding Chhien's villa
at about 2:30am on October 17 and fired one B-40 rocket at the house.
Local officials initially speculated the attack was the result of a business dispute
or the responsibility of the so-called Khmer Serei rebel movement. Police are continuing
their investigation.
