Pardon journalists, KCF head: Activist

Rong Chhun, a Cambodia Watchdog Council’s representative, has urged Prime Minister Hun Sen to request a Royal pardon for three men either already in prison or facing time behind bars, in a letter that referred to the pardon given to a convicted Thai spy earlier this month. The letter referred to two journalists, Hang Chakra and Ros Sokhet, and to Khmer Civilisation Foundation chairman Moeung Sonn, all convicted on defamation and disinformation cases this year.
