Parliamentarians from more than 25 countries converged on Cambodia on Jan 25 for

the annual meeting of the Association of Asian Parliamentarians for Peace. During

the conference the parliamentarians tabled numerous peace-related issues including

the adoption of an Asian human rights charter. National Assembly President Norodom

Ranariddh was elected the association's head during the conference.
