More than 100 Cambodian Muslims held by Thai immigration police at their checkpoint in Sa Kaeo province on Sunday were permitted to enter Thailand. A Thai News Agency reported that Thai officials had stopped 113 Cambodian Muslims due to possible “security risks”.
“I think this is a normal process for security reasons,” Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Koy Kuong said yesterday.
